"I was sick frequently with vague symptoms. I was always tired, overweight and depressed. My MD had recommended I see Dr. Kowata as I was not getting any better. During my initial visit with Dr Kowata, I watched her pour through my old records. She asked me so many questions about my health and habits. I had some old lab and medical records thankfully, and she found some abnormal thyroid antibody tests from four year earlier indicating an autoimmune condition.
